Average Yellow Pear tomatoes are about an inch across, but these tend to grow about 1 ? inch across fruit. Vining Yellow Pear tomatoes can grow fairly. Tomatoes are eaten raw or cooked, but the smaller Yellow Pear tomatoes are more often eaten raw just because of their size. High in vitamins A and C, and are great sources for potassium, vitamin K and even fiber. While starting seeds of the Yellow Pear Tomato is not necessarily difficult, the right conditions will make the process successful. Sow Yellow Pear Tomato seeds directly in the ground in the spring when the threat of frost has passed or start in containers several weeks before transplanting into soil. Keep the ground moist but not wet for the first couple of weeks. Pick a sunny, well-drained spot for planting for the best performance. Yellow Pear Tomato prefers a well-drained fertile soil in a sunny position. Yellow Pear Tomatoes are splendid for growing up fences or a tomato cage.
