Hyacinth Bulb Mix Planting Instructions

HYACINTH BULBS MIX

A bright mixture of the most beautiful colors. Hyacinths introduce color and fragrance to patios and decking. Just one or two pots of hyacinths will fill the entire garden with their exquisite scent.
The extra-large bulbs we use in this mix will give you extra-large flowers too.
Bulb diameter 12-14 cm.

Our special mixed hyacinths consists of the most beautiful colors: white, light pink, purple and blue. The flowers smell delightful, these hyacinths fill the whole garden with their lovely perfume. Bring spring into the home by picking a few hyacinths for a vase in the living room. If you are mixing the hyacinths with other flowers in the vase, refresh the water every two days. Did you know that the hyacinth is related to the asparagus? As some people may be allergic to hyacinths it is advised to wear gardening gloves when handling them.

 Hyacinths in the garden

A large group of mixed hyacinths will look amazing. Plant the hyacinths in groups of at least 10 bulbs, or divide about 30 to 50 bulbs evenly in a flower bed. These hyacinths with firm stems also grow well in a flower pot or in a patio planter, where they can be planted closer together. Make sure you use fresh potting compost and put a layer of gravel or hydro granules at the bottom of the pot. To protect the bulbs grown in a pot against frost, move the pot to a frost-free area or cover it with bubble wrap. Water during dry periods.
